Brief closing ceremony followed by a Break the Fast dinner, Wednesday, September 19 at 6:30 p.m. at Kadima, 1020 Milwaukee Ave., Suite 118 in Deerfield. $15 per person. Reservations required at office@nrck.org

Guests: We welcome you! Please let us know that you intend to join us by sending an email to office@nrck.org Our fee for non-members is $100 per adult for the holiday services. Children and teens under 18 are free. The guest fee may be brought to the reception desk at services or mailed to The New Reform Congregation Kadima, 1020 Milwaukee Avenue, Suite 118, Deerfield, IL 60015.

Membership: New members are welcome to “Choose Your Dues” for the coming year. Stop at the Reception table or contact our office if you would like to join Kadima.

Adult Classes: The Rabbi’s weekly class on Jewish Ethics for Personal Transformation will begin after the holidays on Saturday, October 6, 9:00-11:00 a.m. at Kadima. All are welcome!

Religious School: Classes and youth activities will begin in October after the holidays. For more information, please contact Mary Oler, office@nrck.org

Children are welcome at all services. During the morning services children may go out to the Lounge for a holiday Story Time during the Rabbi’s sermon. Otherwise children should remain with their parents. We will have a basket of books in the reception area for children to borrow during services. We are a child-friendly congregation, but if children become a disturbance, we ask that parents take them out for a break in the Lounge area.

Save the Dates for Sukkot: Rabbi David and Mary Oler will host dinner for Kadima’s adult membership on Sunday, September 23, at 7 p.m. at their home. Please RSVP to office@nrck.org On the following Sunday, September 30, Doug and Kay are inviting members of all ages to visit their farm, and have lunch at the Sukkah beginning at 1 p.m. RSVP to office@nrck.org

Holiday Food Drive:We encourage you to participate in our annual holiday food drive by bringing non-perishable food to any of our holiday services. They will be donated to the West Deerfield Township Food Pantry.
