Kadima Women's Group Meeting 4-21-18

Kadima Women’s Group
At our first meeting, on Saturday, April 21, a gathering of Kadima women developed a varied list of activities that interest us: cultural outings, reading books of Jewish interest, socializing over wine and cheese, engaging in social action, fundraising for the congregation, and more.
We’d like to invite all women of the congregation to join us for a catered Shabbat dinner at Kadima on Friday, May 18 at 6:30 pm. Following the meal, we’ll work on making colorful quilts and blankets for distribution to children in hospitals, homeless shelters, and the juvenile court system through Project Linus. The food and blanket materials will be provided, and the blankets are quite easy to craft. Please RSVP to office@nrck.org and plan to contribute $10 toward the cost of our dinner.
For our June meeting, date to be announced, we’ll discuss Martha Hall Kelly’s novel, Lilac Girls. You may want to begin reading soon!
